I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania for the last 8 years. I have worked for community mental health agencies since my graduation from Seton Hill University in 2008. As a therapist, I believe our quality of life is directly related to the quality of our relationships and the ability to maintain relationships. These relationships include, but are not limited to one’s self, one’s family and friends, co-workers and jobs, and spirituality. I believe the way in which we have experienced life dictates how we choose to live each day and the quality of our relationships influences how we cope with stress, sadness, joy, and excitement to name a few. I use a combination of Family Systems Theory, Experiential Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to help clients identify problematic pattern behavior in session, reflect on how their experiences thus far in life have shaped these patterns and challenge clients to discuss possible solutions or ways to experience the problem in a new way. Through the use of meditation and mindfulness practice I help clients learn to tolerate the new and different ways they experience the world and create lasting change.
