Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Michigan and have been in the helping profession for over 15 years and feel it is a privilege to walk along side those I work with. I have a Masters Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. I currently work as a child therapist at a local middle school as well as as a professor of social work at Grand Valley State University. I am a certified trainer in Youth Mental Health First Aid and Child Protection Law and am a strong advocate for the youth in our community.

I have worked in various settings with children and families and have extensive experience in individual therapy. I place a high value in the therapeutic relationship and spend time really getting to know you and your vision for living well. I enjoy working with individuals, children, and families with an emphasis on women's issues, anxiety & depression.

I believe we all have mental health, just as we have physical health, and need to provide ourselves with proper self care. Learning how to cope with the different challenges life presents us is a skill worth learning! I believe there is always hope and enjoy seeing others find their path to wellness.
