The goal is peace and for you to feel at home wherever you are. I draw from current evidence-based treatment modalities in order to support your goals. I bring diverse experiences performing mental health assessments, running therapeutic groups and individual counseling sessions, as well as teaching theories of human behavior as an adjunct professor. My practice is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. Based on best fit, I use modalities including dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic, and trauma informed practice. I am able to draw from concepts in both Western and Eastern spiritual traditions and have particular experience working with clients with acute mental health diagnoses. My style is warm, empathic, and supportive. After a session where clients connect deeply with their inner life, they often feel a sense of groundedness and freedom.
