I attended Bowdoin College in Maine and got my Masters in Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have eight years of experience working in therapeutic settings with a range of patients and problems. I take a client-centered approach, and pull from my background in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support the patients I work with. I have extensive experience working with young adults experiencing life transitions and adjustments, depression, anxiety, confusion about future goals and directions, and relationship problems. I am described as warm and strive to facilitate a non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere in my work with patients.
