Hello! My name is Kerrie A Lewis and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida with over 15 years' experience in the field of psychology and counseling. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and ADHD. I also have special training in trauma counseling using EMDR, and crisis counseling and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). I have an MCAP (Master Addiction's Professional) and extensive experience in working with addictions. I am a native Floridian and out of high school served my country in the United States Air Force. I am totally dedicated to wellness and the mind/body connection, and fiercely believe that therapy is an excellent way to help manage life in today's unsettled society.

My counseling style is warm, interactive, and client-centered. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion; I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach to counseling draws from an eclectic array of techniques from multiple theories from schools of thought on techniques--in other words, I use what works for YOU, and tailor your sessions to your unique and specific needs.
