I completed my undergraduate degree at University of Michigan in Criminal Justice and received my Master's degree at Wayne State University in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling. I have experience assisting individuals that have mental, physical and intellectual disabilities achieve their personal, career, and independent living goals through the counseling process. I enjoy working with individuals 18 years of age and up. Through the counseling process I want to help individuals understand their feelings, identify issues that affect their mental health and discover ways to overcome them by learning new skills to cope. I'm passionate in helping individuals that need assistance with anxiety, stress management, grief and loss, life adjustments, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem, self-improvement and career counseling. The therapeutic approaches that I have experience in is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, and Solution- Focused therapy. However, I work from a diverse range of theoretical orientations, based on the client needs.
