Hello! My name is Kendra and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I am nationally certified through the National Board of Certified Counselors and am also active in the American Counseling Association. I am qualified to serve people across the lifespan in modalities of family, group, or an individual basis. My therapeutic approach is eclectic typically blending interventions from multiple theories in an attempt to tailor to your individual needs. I specialize in trauma and am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) therapy.

Life comes with unexpected challenges and struggles that can be overwhelming and consuming. It is my belief that most people have the ability to grow and build on their own strengths; however, at times, need empowerment and encouragement.

Counseling is a process by which we will collaborate and work together, in which, I will provide a safe, judgment-free space and value your feedback. Counseling includes your active involvement as well as efforts to change your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. My approach to counseling is to help you identify your strengths, and to integrate those strengths with skills learned and practiced to achieve your goals. My goal, as your therapist, is to provide you with those skills and solutions you can apply in all aspects of your life.
