About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina with over 6 years of experience as an individual and family therapist and case manager. I have a bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Development from Southern Virginia University and a Master of Social Work degree from Winthrop University. Much of my experience has been working with clients managing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, parenting challenges, empowering women, and navigating trauma backgrounds.

My counseling approach is eclectic, holistic, and strength based, as well as, trauma informed. I use various treatment modalities to meet you where you are to give you the best support. I mainly use EMDR with somatic experiencing, cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy.
