I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Illinois and I am bilingual in English and Mandarin. I have five years of experience working with culturally diverse school-aged children (5-18), and enjoy working not only with the child/adolescent but also providing support and coaching for the parents/caregivers. I also started to work with the adult population on mood disorders, marital conflicts and family relationship issues 1 year ago. I earned my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University (CA) and I completed a pre-doctoral internship at Oakes Children’s Center in San Francisco, CA. Prior to working for Lifespan Counseling and Psychological Services, I worked at Wellnest LA, a community mental health agency and provided intake assessments and therapy services with diverse clients of all ages. My style is warm, practical and straightforward. I specialize in using the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy(CBT) and Family System Theory to address Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, and relational conflicts with family members and teachers. I also use questionnaires to monitor treatment outcomes and communicate frequently with parents/caregivers to gather feedback and modify treatment plans.
