I am a licensed clinical social worker in Nevada with 6 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. For me, one of the most important parts of the therapeutic process is building rapport and creating a safe environment to process emotions, feelings, or habits that may be affecting other areas of your life. I like to describe myself as a therapist as the person who holds the flashlight for you as you do the work of getting out of a dark place. As your therapist we can work together to help you define your goals, help you to recognize your strengths, and I'm a big believer in the power of gratitude. I also recognize the huge factor that racial, social, and economic inequality play in our lives. If you've made it this far, you're practically already through the hardest part and for most people, that's the act of reaching out for help and I'm so proud of you for that!
