About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arkansas. I have worked with individuals with concerns regarding depression, anxiety, and ADHD. I have also worked with individuals with concerns regarding parenting issues.

As a therapist, I take a mindfulness approach with some cognitive-behavioral techniques, and person-centered approach. I believe exploring how our concerns and feelings make our body feel impact our mental health. Understanding the link between the two and addressing this in a safe atmosphere can help address these concerns. As a client, a general openness to exploring something new; confronting negative thoughts or feelings will only help you. As a therapist, I believe it is important to practice what I "preach". This means I will never ask a client to do something I wouldn't be willing to do myself.

To seek therapy and help addressing concerns takes a lot of courage. My hope is that I can help you feel empowered to overcome concerns or issues you may have.
