I am a licensed clinical social worker. I am licensed in New Jersey with 5 years of professional work experience. I have been in the field of human service for over 25 years. I have experience helping clients with a variety of concerns including but not limited to: stress, anxiety & depression, and interpersonal relationship issues.
I received my Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University. I also hold a degree in Developmental Disabilities and am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. My preferred modalities of treatment include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Interpersonal Therapy. I also have experience with Inner Child Work and Substance Use Issues.
I believe in treating everyone with dignity, empathy, and respect. I've been told that I am "real" and "down to earth". I prefer a collaborative approach to therapy, meaning that we can work together to find the best course of action for your individual journey. I believe that each choice a person makes today has the potential to change their tomorrow.
