I believe that change is possible and that therapy can be the first step. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and understanding space for my clients to heal and grow as well as develop healthier relationships. I believe in an inclusive, well-balanced approach. My experiences professionally and personally have given me the opportunity to utilize my interpersonal and therapeutic skills to work with diverse populations. I have a special interest in working with children and teens, grief and loss, I have worked with a wide range of populations, from children as young as four, to couples, adults, and to those experiencing deep grief and loss. Along with my professional experience, my empathy, open-mindedness, cultural awareness, and appropriate boundaries demonstrates the qualities I look forward to bringing to your counseling. I look forward to working with you. I highly value cultural awareness in my work and believe that it is the richness and joy that binds generations together. I also believe that culture is a root of strength, coping, and the expression of onself. I believe mindfulness and meditation can be a practice and it can also be highly effective in treatment for trauma, anxiety, and depression.
