I became a counselor because I want people to be happy. I was a high school English teacher and I realized that my students needed help navigating life. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan and Tennessee. I have lived in 5 states across the US. I have worked as a counselor for 19 years with children and adults. I have worked with people with academic, stress, depression, focus, and panic issues. I have dealt with issues of unplanned pregnancies and issues of infertility. I have helped individuals with career planning, self-esteem building, goal setting, and coping with major life changes. I have used various techniques and theories because each person is unique. I use the counseling strategies that meet the needs of each individual client. I truly enjoy getting to know people and helping them to improve their circumstances. I am the guide to help you find your goals, your plans, and your happiness. On the personal side, my husband and I have been married for 34 years and we raised three children. I enjoy reading, writing, and scrap booking in my spare time.
