I take a systemic approach to therapy, understanding my clients' environments and relationships. Together, we will identify strengths, barriers, and goals to determine the direction of our sessions. I work with the client to target identified issues. I use humanistic and systems approaches to help the client gain a healthier understanding of self, help gain meaning in life, and explore the client's roles in the systems they are a member of. I care for my clients, showing them care, acceptance, and empathy with a sense of humor. I utilize a variety of approaches such as mindfulness, expressive arts, journalling, and nature, challenging my clients and modifying my approaches to be more eclectic depending on what is helpful for the client. I want to hear your story. Whatever your story is, it must be heard. It is easier to accept pain in our stories in a safe and supportive setting that allows us to let go, realize our purpose, and find satisfaction. I can help people of all ages who want to change their life, improve relationships, and feel more connected and at ease with themselves. My passions are meeting individuals where they are and approaching issues with a trauma-focused and cultural lens. I specialize in depression, anxiety, loss, grief, attachment, emotional intelligence, effective communication, and mindfulness. My mission is to assist you in creating appropriate boundaries, harmonious connections, personal development, and finding peace within. My expertise extends to mental health concerns, trauma services, readjustment issues, peer support, and career planning. Everyone's situation is unique! We will be on this journey together.
