Hello!

My name is Kellie Kennedy and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I have been providing mental health counseling for the previous 9 years, in a variety of settings. I have worked with individuals in the home and school settings, community settings, crisis facility, and detention facilities. I have supported individuals having difficulties with depression, anxiety, responding to anger, and trauma and abuse symptoms. I have also supported individuals through changing life stages, improving self-esteem, and conflict in relationships.

My approach in therapy is one of curiosity, compassion, and unconditional positive regard. I utilize techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based therapy, and solution focused therapy, I believe in the power of the therapeutic alliance, and that you are the expert! I appreciate collaborating with you on your goals for therapy, and learning about you to develop an individualized approach. I will support you in developing insight into the barriers to your goals, and provide you with tangible skills to reach your goals.
