About

Hi! My name is Kelli, and I'm passionate about animals, traveling, and home remodeling. I am a part-time therapist and part-time sheep farmer. My life motto is, sink, or swim. This empowers me to face challenges and overcome them.

Being open and honest is the key to effective therapy. I encourage frequent communication about your experience during the therapeutic process. This helps me to make appropriate choices for interventions when moving forward. The most important thing for me to communicate is that this is a safe place and there is no judgment. Therapy is your journey and I am along for the ride helping you conquer what you have set out to achieve every step along the way.

I have a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Henderson State University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas. My experience over the last three years includes working at an inpatient residential facility for adolescents, providing school-based services for children and adolescents ages 4-18, and working in an outpatient environment providing services for teenagers and adults. I gained intern experience with a substance abuse facility providing services for inpatient and outpatient adults and teenagers. Before my work as a therapist, I worked with a non-profit organization providing after school care and activities for kids enrolled in local schools. I also worked with another non-profit organization as a direct support professional targeting daily skills and living assistance for adults with developmental disabilities.

I integrate different therapy modalities, using various techniques that fit your goals. Cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and psychoeducation, are the backbone of my therapeutic approach. I also utilize trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or would like to talk!
