I have been a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Minnesota for most of my career. I have been practicing as a clinical social worker for 24 years and have focused my expertise with my clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, post trauma stress, grief and loss, adjustment amidst a life change, career challenges, and behavior modification for pediatric patients and their parents. I utilize a variety of modalities to include bio-behavioral strategies along with components of cognitive behavioral therapy.

Life stressors can be challenging and we are impacted more in this last year with the effects of the global pandemic which have a significant impact on a person's life which can potentially disrupt one's quality of life and sense of well-being. Coping skills are essential when people are faced with a situation or condition that is both potentially stressful and meaningful. Every person must find ways to cope during an unfamiliar set of stressful situations. Regardless, of one's background, resources, socio-economic status or knowledge, every person requires support. My hope for clients is to optimize their emotional and physical well-being by enhancing their strength and understanding of the personal and psychosocial implications of their situation and move forward through empowerment.
