I am a licensed clinical social worker and I have been practicing therapy for 8 years. I have a passion for supporting individuals to live a more fulfilling and balanced life. What is your approach to therapy? My therapeutic style is adaptive to meet the needs of each person. I have received training in somatic experiencing so I often incorporate the mind-body connection to healing. I also combine the client-centered approach to cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, and mindfulness. My counseling style is accepting, interactive, and attentive. I feel passionate about assisting people to meet their goals and to feel empowered by believing in their own strengths and abilities. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? Client's can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, validated, and with new perspectives on healing and how to move forward. It is important to establish goals of therapy during the first session and to continue to revisit them regularly to ensure therapeutic needs are being met.
