Hello, my name is Keila Aldea and I am a licensed clinical social worker in CT. I have over 7 years of experience working with adults, children, teens and families in many capacities including outpatient, in-home and groups. I have experience in the areas of trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions, stress management, personal growth, parenting, healthy relationships and more. I became a social worker because I am passionate about empowering others to reach their full potential and love the life they live.

I would describe my therapy style as strength-based, compassionate, empathetic, supportive and client-centered. My main objective is building rapport with my clients, and creating a safe and comfortable healing environment. I believe we all have strengths, and are doing the best we can with the resources we have and with the right guidance, can truly develop into our highest, most authentic selves.

I utilize a holistic approach and assist clients in understanding themselves better in order to develop to their full potential. If you are constantly asking yourself, “who am I?”, “how can I be happy?”, struggle with knowing how to love and accept yourself, how to feel confident and manage all that life is throwing at you, allow me to support and guide you. The first step is always the hardest, but if the result is finding your personal power, then it will be totally worth it.
