Hi there, I'm Keesha! Hello! My name is Keesha Clark and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I am eager to work with clients overwhelmed with emotional distress as they navigate conflicts in relationships, career, finances, pregnancy and parenting. My approach is trauma-informed and includes a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, acceptance, compassion and emotionally focused and somatic therapeutic interventions to help you achieve your goals. My approach I commonly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused and Somatic Therapy to help client to reach their treatment goals. My focus I typically work with clients managing anxiety and depression and perinatal/postpartum mood disorders. My communication style I am intentional about creating a warm, safe, non-judgmental environment for clients to release and process difficult thoughts and emotions. My journey to mental healthcare My journey started over a decade ago when I had a small but persistent voice that encouraged me to do more to make an impact in the world. I started working with youth in foster care as a mentor and became inspired to become a Social Worker at that time. Throughout my journey as a Social Worker, I have worn many hats and served diverse populations, but I found purpose and reward in working in the mental health field. Mental health is misunderstood and misrepresented at large, but it is just as important as any other area of health and wellness. I have developed a deep sense of purpose in supporting people in becoming their best selves. I help others uncover the barriers to progress and work on the steps to acceptance, happiness and peace. My goals for you I take a collaborative approach with goal setting ensuring that goals are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound.
