About

I am a Mental Health Therapist and Personal Development Coach licensed in the state of Florida. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and coping with life stressors. I have also provided support to clients who have experienced physical trauma and/or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is warm, supportive and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, compassion and acceptance. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, insight-oriented, and solution-focused therapies. I tailor treatment plans to meet the unique and specific needs of my clients.

I obtained my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University. I also attended Florida International University, where I earned a Bachelor of Art in Sociology, a Bachelor of Art in Anthropology and minored in Psychology.

As a Mental Health Counselor/Therapist working in the communities of South Florida I quickly realized the need for not only mental health services and awareness, but also guidance and support. My personal and professional experiences led to the creation of Doing the Possible Counseling LLC. Developed from wanting to assist my clients with making positive changes, reaching their goals, and living happier healthier lives. I provide my clients with the tools necessary to change their mindset and allow themselves to believe that positive change and a happier life is possible.
