Hello! My name is Kayla Knoll and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation in the state of Tennessee. I am originally from Illinois and moved to Iowa to complete my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I then moved to Tennessee where I attended The University of Tennessee and received my Masters degree in 2015. Over the past five years I have worked with a variety of populations from small children to older adults. I have experience in the jail system, residential programs, as well as outpatient programs.

I would describe my therapeutic approach as warm and client centered. I enjoy working with adults that struggle with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have been trained in EMDR therapy to help individuals overcome obstacles and trauma and be able to better cope with their experiences. I also utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and DBT. I meet my clients where they are and firmly believe that they are the experts in their lives. We will work collaboratively to discover strategies and solutions that work best for you.
