Hello! My name is Kayla and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. I am originally from Upstate New York. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Anthropology in 2013 and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016. I am currently working as a part-time clinician for a Therapeutic After-School Program in Massachusetts.

I have been working in the mental health field for over 7 years. I have worked in residential programs, public schools, and community mental health agencies. My primary areas of practice include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, relationships, and self-esteem. Over the years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults.

My approach to therapy is Eclectic with a focus on Client-Centered/Humanistic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe each and every one of us knows ourselves best, but we may also need someone to help us achieve our goals by listening and providing guidance. I also believe clients will achieve their goals, in their own time, and on their own terms. I believe in the power of laughter and making connections with others. I look forward to working with you!
