Kayce Bragg is a Board-Certified Licensed Professional Counselor, Supervisor, and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in the state of South Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Kansas, Georgia, Washington and registered to provide telehealth services in Florida and Vermont. Kayce is currently studying for her Doctorate degree in Psychology. Kayce worked in the community mental health field since 2011 and was the Clinical Director for a statewide non-profit organization that serves adults with severe and persistent mental illness such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, and various other Mood/Psychotic Disorders. At the beginning of 2016, Kayce branched out to private practice, providing telehealth therapy services to the residents of South Carolina through online platforms using messaging, phone, and video tools. She specializes in treating such issues as depression, anxiety, difficulty adapting to life situations, relationship issues, stress caused by pressure at work or home, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, other difficulties maintaining life balance, developing coping skills, interpersonal skills, independent living skills, stress management, personal empowerment and advocacy, healthy leisure habits, and other important life skills. She also has experience with addictions issues and is equipped to help with related problems. Kayce is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) treatment for trauma. She tends to use a model for therapy that integrates brief and time-limited solution-focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology and other modalities that focus more on what you are experiencing in the here and now as well as coming up with solutions to help you feel better and maintain improved balance in life.
