Hello! My name is Katrina and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over four years of experience providing psychotherapy services. I have worked with varying populations and in a range of different therapeutic settings including community-based and outpatient offices. I work with clients affected by depression, anxiety, trauma and relationship challenges from individual, group and family work.

My approach to therapy is very client-centered, with clients being the experts on their lives and allowing them to determine the direction as well as depth of therapy. Through a strengths-based and solutions-focused lens, I draw on multiple treatment modalities to guide clients in identifying strengths and developing treatment plans to work towards accomplishing their goals. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I assist clients in exploring relationships among their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to aid in discovering dysfunctional thought patterns leading to self-destructive behaviors and beliefs. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I support clients through the development of skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotional regulation with the goal of moving clients toward a life involving the capacity for experiencing joy and freedom. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels.
