Katie Lyon is a licensed professional counselor offering behavioral health services to young adults and adults throughout Texas. She treats a full list of specialties; however, her specialties include depression, LGBT, life transitions, trauma, and mood disorders. Katie’s first career was in music therapy. Situations continued to pop up where Katie thought a degree in counseling would be beneficial. She now uses her music therapy lens and counseling lens to help her clients. Katie is a firm believer that not every method of care works for every client. She is flexible in her counseling approach and uses that flexibility to find out what works best for each person. Katie is a dog lover and enjoys running 5K’s with her friends. She has also earned two Master Degrees.
