Hello,
My name is Katie Lee and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Metro Denver area. I work with individuals, who are coping with a wide range of concerns including depression, stress and anxiety, family relations issues, communication filters, cultural diversity sensitivity issues, substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. I combine different therapeutic approaches based on the client's presenting concerns and goals. My main therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic and rational emotive counseling. These approaches have resulted in positive outcomes for my clients. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels.

My goal is to provide you with a practical solution and tools you can apply in all aspects of your life. As my client, we will begin services where you are, while assisting you in identifying healthy solutions to your problems. Therapy is a collaborative process and I will assist you to learn. grow and make positive changes that result in a more fulfilling life. I have more than 17 years of extensive training and experience in working with individuals with a wide range of concerns.

It takes courage to reach out for help in seeking a more fulfilling and happier life. I offer you a combination of life experience and academic preparation. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from The University of New Hampshire at Durham. Likewise, I earned a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology/Counselor Education from The University of Colorado.
