Welcome!
My interest in Psychology started in high school, it was then I began my journey. When I was a senior in high school, I started taking college level Psychology classes. I received my undergraduate Degree in Psychology from Montana State University in 2008. During my college career at MSU, I worked with abused, neglected, and traumatized children, as a case manager.
After graduating from MSU, I moved to Denver Colorado to start my Master's Program at the University of Phoenix. I graduated with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2013. During my career at U of P. I worked with brain injured adults, as well as borderline personality adults at Fort Logan Mental Hospital. I shadowed two therapists, a female working with sex offenders, and a male working with intermittent explosive disorder children.
Since my graduation from University of Phoenix, I have moved back to Montana, received my license as a Counselor, ( LCPC) and have been practicing behavior therapy with adolescence at the middle school level for the last 4 years.
Personally, I have a 1.5 year old baby girl, and a 11 year old step daughter, and a new baby girl due in June, 2018! My family and I enjoy obvious Montana activities, including, hiking, fishing, camping etc. With strong regards to family interaction, inclusion and communication. We love new movies, music, and outdoor activities, such as fairs, farmers market, and exploring.
My passion is behavior therapy, family systems, and reality therapy, using treatment modalities such as mindfulness and stress reduction, and family systems.
