I am here to support YOU. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey as well as a Certified Life Coach with 20 years of professional work experience in counseling, crisis management, intensive outpatient programs with co-occurring disorders and disordered gambling and psychiatric intervention services - with families, children, teens, young adults, adults and the elderly population. I have experience in helping clients with Suicide Prevention and Intervention, authoring books "" Knockout: SI Thoughts"" and ""Look! See? I Don't Feel Like Me."" In addition, I use Solutions-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive (Processing Thinking) Behavior Therapy, Dialectical (regulating emotions) Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing Therapy, to name a few, to assist with focus on treatment goals and interventions for - 1) minimizing and managing stress and anxiety; 2) PTSD and traumas of physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse; 3)coping with grief and loss of family, loved ones, friends, pets; 4) focus on increasing motivation, improving self esteem, and confidence; 5) Life Coaching and Life Changes; 6) Identifying Triggers for Anger; 7) Career Counseling; 8) Compassion/Caregiver Fatigue; 9) Depression; 10) Relationship Issues and/or Domestice Violence; 11) Family Conflicts; 12) Parenting Issues; 13) Bipolar Disorder; 14) Co-Occurring Disorders (Substance Abuse and Mental Health; and 15) Disordered Gambling.
