Greetings! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington with over 20 years of experience. I have an expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Crisis Intervention, and Trauma Informed Care. I am an ally to the LGBTQ+ community and provide an objective and unbiased approach. As a former U.S. Army Soldier, I understand the military culture and challenges. I have a Harm Reduction approach to addiction struggles. I consider myself a low barrier, accessible therapist and will work with you at your pace and do my best to meet you where you are currently in your life journey. I have extensive experience in working with clients who have depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, life changes, bipolar disorder, relational conflict, and trauma.

My counseling approach is client centered, unbiased, non-rigid, and I use active listening with the goal of partnering with you in creating a realistic plan in looking at changes that may benefit you in improving your life circumstances.

Empowerment starts with the courage to acknowledge you need support. My approach is to understand what your current or past life barriers and struggles are and to help you in moving towards healthier relationships and behaviors.
