Hello! My name is Katie and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio. I have been in the helping profession for 7 years primarily working for a community based mental health agency. I have worked in different settings including residential, school-based, and outpatient with clients of all ages. My clients have experienced a wide range of behavioral and emotional needs. My main areas of focus have included depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, trauma, and loss.

My counseling style is collaborative. I believe counseling works best when client and counselor work hand in hand to identify goals and explore opportunities for change. My techniques stem from various counseling theories including strength based, humanistic, client centered, cognitive-behavioral, and trauma informed. I believe it is my job to tailor my techniques to meet your needs. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space for you to feel safe and open in sharing your thoughts, feelings, and needs.
