About

I have always been motivated to help people and I look forward to the opportunity to support you!

My training at Smith College School for Social Work provided me with a foundation in psychodynamic principles, social welfare, and social justice initiatives. Once graduating in 2011, I pursued roles in non-profit social service agencies in Maine, the Bay Area, and upstate New York, which has gifted me with opportunities to serve multi-ethnic, clinically complex, racially diverse, and LGBTQ+ client populations ranging from 12 to 70 years of age inclusive of families, adults, and teenagers within individual and group treatment settings. My clinical work is relational and trauma informed, and borrows from a variety of evidenced based mental health practices. Specifically, I have experience in family dynamics, school success, crisis assessment and safety planning, self-harming and suicide prevention, mood disorders, and behavioral issues.

In addition to my clinical experience, I have a special interest in promoting well-being at work. I've supervised staff and studied Compassion Fatigue in order to promote the overall wellbeing of the staff person. I've most recently worked directly with school staff, embedded within a school setting, and attended to the social and emotional well-being of staff. I firmly believe if we bring our best selves to our work, we in turn provide our best to those we serve in our professional settings.

PLEASE NOTE my availability will change beginning mid-April 2022.
