We all have life struggles throughout our lifetime with individual mental health issues, relationships with family, adult children, or general well-being. It is normal to have these challenges happen many times throughout our lifetime. The first step to being happy and healthy is to ask for help which is a sign of strength and commitment. I applaud you for this.
My name is Kathy Steenberg and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/psychotherapist. Over 26 years of experience working with families, parents, and children/adolescents. With individual adults and couples, I have provided services for over 10 years. In addition, I am current providing co-parenting counseling. Part of my work with couples and families is to meet with each member one on one. My clients describe me as genuine, safe, and nonjudgmental. Sone describe me as determined to figure out with you what is the best and healthiest coping skills to replace the ones that are not working. Whether you are an individual adult or a member of an adult family, I can help. These may include: trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, adult family conflict, relationship challenges, parenting issues and other therapy needs.
