Everyone finds themselves in therapy for different reasons. But all come with a similar hope: to find emotional relief, find strategic ways to meet their goals, and ultimately, make the transition from surviving the "day-to-day", to flourishing in the life you desire for yourself. I strongly believe that everyone can change, and our personal growth has a tremendous impact on our internal happiness and our most important relationships. Therapy within a safe, trusting relationship facilitates these changes to develop, and together we can help you reach your goals and dreams.
I completed my BSW at Hope College, MSW from University of Michigan, as well as a psychotherapy fellowship through Psychiatric and Psychological Specialties. My primary approach is psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, but I use relational and CBT in a supplementary fashion. I have been highly successful in achieving consistent, positive outcomes in my clients.
