Kathryn Engle Wu, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her graduate degree from the University of Maryland, School of Social Work. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Human Resources from the University of Delaware, majoring in Individual and Family Studies.

Kathryn has over twenty years of clinical experience providing therapy services to individuals and families. Her experiences include working with individuals coping with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, family stress, behavioral difficulties, crisis, and trauma. Kathryn has worked in multiple settings including outpatient offices, residential care facilities, partial care programs and with college students.

Kathryn draws from a variety of methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Structural Family Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to create an individual approach tailored for each client and his/her particular situation. As a therapist, her priority is to create a comfortable environment for clients to express themselves and address therapeutic needs. She is naturally open, encouraging and direct, and has a down-to-earth, realistic approach to therapy.
