Hello, Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. My name is Kathiana Edouard, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over seven years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings that include residential and outpatient programs. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, complex trauma/PTSD, multicultural concerns, women’s issues, and difficulties in adjusting to life transitions. I also have experience with addressing interpersonal conflicts. My therapeutic style derives from a focus on creating a safe space in which my client and I can develop a positive therapeutic rapport and essentially develop a sense of teamwork. I will empower my client in beginning the journey of healing. To do so, I incorporate culturally sensitive, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness techniques into my therapeutic approach.
