About

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and have experience counseling clients in areas of loss and trauma, PTSD, dissociative disorders, depression, personality disorders, attachment issues, grief and bereavement, and crisis intervention.

I believe in providing a safe and supportive environment where healing and recovery can occur. One that is honest and caring without judgment, where I can assist clients in clarifying and working toward their goals for treatment and recovery. I believe in a person-centered approach and draw on a variety of methods, modalities and approaches such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness-based therapies, solution focused, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and others, to create a tailored plan for each individual and situation. As a therapist, I am open, encouraging, warm, and direct. I am active in the therapeutic process, combining experience, education, creativity, and sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic approach to counseling.

In addition to a holistic, clinical expertise, I believe in a whole-body, mindfulness approach to working through mental health issues and work to show people how to ignite their innate creative abilities to reveal their own intuitive wisdom and become reconnected to themselves.
