I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), nationally Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and currently licensed in Iowa. I have worked with clients of all ages, with a wide variety of concerns including trauma, anxiety, panic attacks, anger, depression, relationship issues, parenting problems, ADHD. I have also helped many clients who have experienced or witnessed physical, sexual, or emotional abuse.
My counseling style is nonjudgemental and person-centered. My approach combines trauma-informed cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I am also trained and experienced in EMDR. Together we will find the right approach specifically for your needs.
