Greetings
I am so pleased that you are choosing to take care of yourself. I am a licensed clinical social worker
in New York state. I earned my master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Ohio. I have been working in social work since 2000. I would considerate it a privilege to walk with you on your healing journey.
Quite often people are new to therapy, so I like to mention what the process involves. To start with it is important to create a working relationship. To do that we will work together to create a treatment plan that fits your needs. We will decide on goals you wish to reach and work together to meet those goals. My style of working is collaborative, warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental.
My experience includes adults, concerning issues of sexual trauma, self-esteem, coping skills, spiritual abuse, anxiety and depression. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy.
I also have a passion for art. I have a Master of Fine Art from Rochester Institute of Technology. I
work in painting and photography. I also use art as a therapeutic modality at times.
