About

I am a licensed Social Worker in New York State with over 30 years experience in the field. My clinical work has been with children, adolescents, and adults. I have also worked with couples and group therapy. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals on a wide range of issues, such as; depression, anxiety, trauma and recovery, relationship and self esteem issues to name a few. My approach to treatment is from a strengths based solution focused perspective and I believe that every person is the "expert" on their own lives. I have worked as an adjunct professor at a local university and published research in the area of trauma.
I have also worked at a high level of administration and have provided supervision and consultation to human service professionals looking to advance their careers.
