As a therapist, I strive to create an environment that is conducive to exploration without fear of judgment. We’re often isolated in our hurt, and more so when shame is present. The experience of struggle is something we all face, but the choice to face it and exist with our vulnerability is where our innate strength and capacity to thrive emerges. Being truly seen, heard, and respected, especially in our messiness and darkness, can unlock new space for connection, joy, and fulfillment.
