About

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck in a routine, confused, drained, disconnected, and desiring it all to be different?

My approach is simple, I want to create a space where you feel comfortable to explore, discover, and embrace your authentic self. My job is to be present, validating, and provide an alternative way to look at your experiences and feel empowered, seen, and confident as you live your story.

My background as an LCSW ranges from working with individuals, families, caregivers, and groups. I've worked with individuals whose age range from young children to young adulthood living with chronic medical conditions and working through the frustration, grief, and toll it takes. I also have experience working with the parents and caregivers of those living with chronic diagnosis and the emotional strain it can cause. In addition to chronic diagnosis, I have extensive experience working with individuals and groups who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship strain, family dynamic issues, life direction challenges, living with or caring for someone with autism, involvement with child protection/human services, LGBTQ+ questions/and or need, faith and religious questions and/or needs.

I draw from therapy models such as cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, attachment therapy, narrative therapy, interpersonal therapy, client-centered therapy, solution-focussed therapy, and experiential therapy. I am trained in mindfulness and breath work, and have been certified in the Strengthening Families Model. I will take time getting to know you and hearing you in order to draw from these models and provide appropriate support based on what you are wanting to gain from our time together.

I'm honored to take the time you deserve discovering how you can live your life authentically!
