Welcome to my biography. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Board-Certified Counselor, and hold a doctoral degree in Human Development.

I believe that each human perceives their experiences through the interconnected lens of the mind, body, and soul. As such, I help my clients understand themselves holistically by providing positive regard and support in a safe, non-judgmental space. Through self-exploration and healing, together we can formulate lasting changes using mindfulness based and cognitive-behavioral techniques.

I have worked for over 20 years in both private and educational settings. My approach to assessment and therapy is rooted in attachment theory and is client-centered. My areas of interest and specialty includes relationship issues, bariatric surgery, stress management and self-esteem. I applaud your courage in reaching out.
