Hello my name is Katherine. After embarking on a personal journey of healing and self discovery, I founded Awakened Counseling Services. My hope is that I can create a safe space where my clients can experience the same healing power of therapy that changed my life. I am passionate about my work with adolescents, young adults and the incredible changes many clients experience through the use of EMDR. From anxiety to depression, to self-esteem or self-doubt, to helping survivors of unhealthy or abusive relationships, you are now in the right place. I personally know how difficult it can be to desperately seek quality help and find someone, only to later learn that they are unfit to help you. Finding someone that can truly understand and can make a difference in our lives is not easy. Because I personally understand I have made it my life’s passion to help my clients overcome these challenges. My years of experience in both the educational system and mental health, have prepared me to provide my clients with the results that they deserve. And this is what I want to offer you starting now.
