I am a licensed clinical social worker in New York with over 7 years of professional experience working with a variety of different clients. My goal is to help you feel truly heard and seen in our sessions so that you can safely explore, process, and make sense of what's troubling you—currently or in the past. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, non-judgment, and dignity.

As a social worker, I'll pay particular attention to your strengths while helping you learn how to manage the symptoms you're experiencing and begin to heal the woundedness you (and all of us, as humans) carry. I aim to establish a safe and trusting therapeutic atmosphere that makes it more inviting to honestly express difficult emotions and troubling thoughts. Together, we can figure out how to navigate challenging relationships or relationship fears, how to overcome various professional or academic challenges, and what your core values are so that you can begin crafting a life that's richer in meaning and better aligned with what matters to you most.

As far as clinical skills go, I utilize exercises and techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) as well as motivational interviewing (MI) and Gottman-method couples therapy. You're welcome to ask me more about these approaches in session, and I'm happy to tailor our time together to what works best for you.
