Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State, and have worked in both private practice as well as the-not- for-profit mental health & education sector for 12 years. I have worked with many populations, age ranges, and areas of concern. I have supported adults struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self esteem, and adjustment issues. I also work closely with women struggling with postpartum issues and adjusting to motherhood, as well as relationship and family issues.

My counseling style is collaborative and solutions focused. I will work alongside you in developing your goals, and move towards these goals by digging deep into root causes, reflecting on patterns and the relationships between thoughts and behaviors, and being solutions focused when possible. While my therapeutic approach is flexible, my training is mostly in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also have training in multicultural competency counseling, and have worked with clients from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.
