Hi there, I'm Kassandra! Hello, My name is Kassandra Woodson, I am a licensed clinical social worker. My professional work experience consists of assisting individuals with adverse mental health concerns, stress and anxiety, family conflicts, trauma, and abuse, & intimacy-related issues. I believe healing is a process that requires assistance and it would be a privilege to help you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I look forward to getting started with you! My therapeutic approach consists of mutual understanding and collaborative efforts to help address what you may need help with. I believe healing can occur through all of the life stressors and I plan to be a person of support for you. My therapeutic intention is to cultivate a safe space for clients to foster personal growth, healing, and self-awareness while feeling supported each step of the way. Together, we will sort through troubling emotions, negative belief patterns, work stress, past trauma, relationship problems, or any other issues keeping you feeling distressed, lost, or stuck. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I intend to cultivate an aura of acceptance and welcome openness to promote trust. The tone of therapy is guided by the necessity of the client I work with to ensure they feel supported through all they may be experiencing. It has been my passion to allow people the space to process whatever they may be struggling with. I believe that no one person is an island and it is necessary to take the opportunity to seek support and utilize it when needed. I find fulfillment in being that person of support to whoever may need it. We all experience adversity with the struggles that surface in life and the drive that I have is based on purpose, and that purpose is giving others the opportunity to express themselves openly, and be heard.
