Hello My name is Kassandra Gibbs. I am a LCSW in the state of CA and have been enjoying my career in counseling for over 5 years now. I have had the opportunity to work with many different populations, age groups, cultures, and in all sorts of environments from the hospital setting to private practice. I have worked with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, pregnancy, and grief/loss. I tend to prefer approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Psychodynamic in my work, however, I hold an open mind to integrate other styles if and when needed. I prioritize the integrity of therapy as well as the integrity of my clients choices. With this being said, I take pride in empowering people to find hope and solutions in a creative and non-judgmental environment. I also feel is it imperative to progress that clients feel safe and hold trust in their therapist. Know that it is common for this step to be difficult and reaching our for help can be scary.
