I know that you have what it takes to get where you want to be and I consider it a great privilege to hold space for that journey. I have a bachelor's degree from The University of Notre Dame and completed my graduate work through The University of Southern California. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationships, parenting and adoption/foster care issues. What is your approach to therapy? I take a holistic approach to meeting your unique needs. Our experiences are not one-size fits all, so treatment of them shouldn't be either. I combine your self-expertise with thoughtful intervention and appropriate tools incorporating EMDR and CBT with an emphasis on mindfulness, but also utilizing elements of creative expression, solution-focused therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy when appropriate. I have additional training in Theraplay, TF-CBT and TBRI. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? New insights, shifting perspectives and concrete tools and resources to help manage whatever change or healing you seek. Most importantly, you can expect to be heard and accepted with compassion and understanding.
